Natura exhibition opening ceremony in Mojkovac

Podgorica 07 May 2012 - NGO Green Home is organizing the opening ceremony of the exhibition Natura 2000 in the Cultural Center in Mojkovac on Tuesday 08 May, starting at 19h. Photographs are representing the work of Natura 2000 info center members that had been implemented under the project "Partnership Action for Biodiversity in the Western Balkans."

This is the fifth exhibition after Cetinje, Kolašin, Podgorica and Uljcinj. Exhibition aims to draw the attention of society on natural resources and beauty of Montenegro and to inform citizens about the Natura 2000 protected areas. The aim of establishing the Natura 2000 network is to protect endangered habitats and species across Europe. Today's network protects over 20% of the territory of the European Union. Natura 2000 guarantees the sustainable development of human beings and nature therefore the management of these areas is adapted to the needs of species and habitats.

Exhibition will be available to visitors from 08th to 11th of May.
