Exhibition of photographs Natura 2000 in Mojkovac

Mojkovac 08 May 2012 - NGO Green Home, in cooperation with the Center for Culture and the Municipality Mojkovac have organized an opening ceremony of the Natura 2000: Man and nature exhibition. Visitors were addressed by representatives of the NGO Green Home Jovana Janjusevic, who stressed the importance of valorization of protected areas in terms of preserving endangered species and habitats and in terms of human activities that are permitted in Natura 2000 areas, but only by respecting the principles of sustainable development and interaction with nature. The representative of the Municipality of Mojkovac and respected ambassador of the environment, Mr. Stevan Grdinic pointed out that Mojkovac respresent the site that should be protected especially considering that it is located near two national parks: Durmitor and Lake Biograd so there exists development opportunities to harmonize with the human needs, but without neglecting the natural resources and beauty of Montenegro.

For nature admirers’ photographs will be available until Friday, 11 May when the exhibition will be set in the municipality of Tuzi in Capital city of Podgorica.
