CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NGO Green Home, in collaboration with EIT Food, is once again organizing the Challenge Lab Agrifood Hackathon, set to begin on October 27th and conclude with the announcement of winning teams on October 31st, 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We warmly invite students (undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate), technologists, scientists, young professionals, and food enthusiasts to join us in this exciting innovation challenge – a competition for best ideas. This year\u2019s hackathon will focus on two key themes: sustainable agriculture and the circular food ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Challenge Lab is an initiative launched by EIT Food \u2013 the European Institute of Innovation and Technology \u2013 with the mission to foster innovation and entrepreneurship across Europe\u2019s agri-food sector. The program is designed to help participants develop creative solutions that address real-world challenges in the food industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Using design thinking and service design methodologies, participants will work in teams to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Explore problems and gather insights into consumer needs<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Develop innovative solutions with guidance from expert mentors in fields such as agriculture, business, environment, and technology<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Build and test prototypes, and present them to a jury who will select the winning ideas<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Financial prizes will be awarded to the most promising and impactful solutions, providing support for further development and implementation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
