{"id":7960,"date":"2019-05-14T12:06:00","date_gmt":"2019-05-14T12:06:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.greenhome.co.me\/?p=7960"},"modified":"2023-01-19T12:12:48","modified_gmt":"2023-01-19T12:12:48","slug":"residents-resistance-to-the-planned-construction-of-a-small-hydroelectric-power-plant-on-the-ljestanica-river","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.greenhome.co.me\/en\/residents-resistance-to-the-planned-construction-of-a-small-hydroelectric-power-plant-on-the-ljestanica-river\/","title":{"rendered":"Residents&#8217; resistance to the planned construction of a small hydroelectric power plant on the Lje\u0161tanica river"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Bijelo Polje, 11.05.2019. godine_NGO Green Home with the residents of the village of Lijeska, which is 30 km from Bijelo Polje, organized a gathering of citizens called &#8220;Resistance of the residents to the construction of the planned small hydroelectric power plant on the river Lje\u0161tanica.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The aim of the gathering is to acquaint all interested parties with the views of local communities regarding the planned construction of the small hydro on the Lje\u0161tanica River and to draw attention to the harmful consequences of the construction of the small hydro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More than 50 locals gathered in the village of Lijeska today, who are unanimous in their opinion that they do not want the construction of a small hydroelectric power plant on the &#8220;Lje\u0161tanica&#8221; river. It is important to point out that the residents of Bukovica and Plav also joined the gathering and gave their support to the residents of Lijeska.
