EU Youth Cinema: Green Deal
NGO Green Home held a screening of the film “Generation Change: Who Saves the World” in Cineplexx CG Podgorica, today, at 10:00 a.m., as part of the EU Youth Cinema: Green Deal project.
The event was attended by students from: High School of Electrical Engineering “Vaso Aligrudić”, High School of Construction and Geodesy “Inž. Marko Radević”, “Slobodan Škerović” Gymnasium, “Spasoje Raspopović” Vocational Secondary School, “Ivan Uskokovći” Secondary Mechanical School, Podgorica Gymnasium, “Vladimir Nazor” Elementary School, “Božidar Vuković Podgoričanin” Elementary School and “Sutjeska” Elementary School with over 250 students.
The screening of the film was followed by a discussion in which MSc Luka Mitrović took part and was moderated by MSc Azra Vuković. During discussion, particpinats exchanged opinions about the film and also understood the impact and cause of climate change better.
NGO Green Home is the Montenegrin local partner of EU Youth Cinema: Green Deal. The project was launched in 2022 in five European countries and was expanded to seven additional European countries, including Montenegro, in 2024. The coordinator of the project is the LET’S CEE Filmfestival association based in Vienna.
EU Youth Cinema: Green Deal is an educational program for professors and their students, so by implementing the project we support the development towards an environmentally conscious society at a high level.
