The project “Accursed Mountains – Cross Border Science Classroom III” aims to address the lack of collaboration and opportunities for students in the region to exchange knowledge and experience on biodiversity and nature protection.

Overall objective: To strengthen cross-border cooperation and good neighborly relations between Montenegro, Albania, and Kosovo by promoting regional dialogue, scientific exchange, and youth engagement in the fields of nature protection and environmental sustainability.

Specific objectives:
• To foster collaboration among students and young researchers in the environment field through joint educational activities and research exchange, building on previous successful initiatives and promoting long-term regional partnerships;
Expected results:
• Increased awareness of the importance of cross-border collaboration in the Accursed Mountains region among students and young people from all three countries;
• Enhanced knowledge and practical skills among students from neighboring countries in the areas of nature protection and environmental sustainability, laying the foundation for future cross-border cooperation;
• 15 students from Montenegro, Kosovo and Albania enhanced their understanding of nature protection and gain new practical experience;

This Project will be implemented in cooperation with Environmentally Responsible Action (ERA) from Kosovo and Institute for Nature Conservation in Albania (INCA) from Albania.
