Green Home NGO, in partnership with EIT Food, is implementing the “EIT Food Startup Awareness Event” project, structured in two segments: the EIT Food Challenge Lab, a multi-phase program based on the principles of design thinking and service design, and a networking event for members of the local innovative agrifood ecosystem.
The EIT Food Challenge Lab – Agrifood Hackathon will be delivered in a hybrid format, combining online sessions with in-person activities. Over the course of three intensive days, participants will engage in educational workshops, team collaboration, and mentoring sessions, culminating in the final presentation of their own innovative solutions. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams to support further development of their ideas.
A dedicated networking event will bring together representatives from the agrifood and innovation sectors, providing a platform for dialogue on current challenges and opportunities in the local agrifood system, as well as for showcasing EIT Food’s activities and support mechanisms.
The Challenge Lab is an initiative launched by EIT Food – the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, with a mission to build a strong innovation community across Europe and foster the development of technology and entrepreneurship in the food sector. These labs bring together diverse stakeholders and apply modern methodologies to collaboratively address key challenges in the food system.
We invite startups, investors, food companies, universities, research centers, ministries, innovation agencies, clusters, and farmers’ associations to join us in a shared effort to strengthen innovation and promote sustainable growth in Montenegro’s agrifood sector.
EIT Food is supported by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union.
