The NGO Green Home realized a three-day training on international environmental standards, from 11th until 13th October in Ulcinj.
The participants of the training were students of relevant study programs, representatives of the civil sector and non-governmental organizations from different parts of Montenegro that deal with environmental protection.
Within the training, we covered areas of environmental protection that are of priority importance for Montenegro, which include nature protection, waste management, as well as air and water protection. For all areas, we pointed out what is the perception of the citizens, and what is the attitude of the competent authorities when it comes to respecting the standards set by the European Union, which guarantee the preservation of the quality of the environment.
We implemented the training as part of the project Enhancing the CSO Environmental Engagement under the EU Accession framework (4E) , which is financed by the EU and co-financed by the Ministry of Public Administration.
