On Friday, June 9, 2023, the second meeting of the working group for the preparation of the Local Action Plan (LAP) within the project MediterRe3 was held in Gusinje. The document Baseline assessments (BA), for Accursed Mountains and Komovi, was presented. The preparation of BA was an activity within the second module of the project. Upcoming activities, specifically the preparation of the Local Action Plan (LAP) were discussed during the meeting.

After the detailed presentation, a discussion began among the representatives of the institutions, which are recognized as key stakeholders, during which useful suggestions were made for the preparation of the LAP, as well as shortcomings in the work and functioning of the institutions of key importance for the areas affected by the Project.

This project is implemented in cooperation with Oikos Institute from Italy, Luberon Natural Regional Park from France, CIHEAM-MAICh Organization from Greece, National Observatory of Athens/Institute for Ecological Research and Sustainable Development (NOA) from Greece.
