We organized the workshop as part of the project Strong civil society for the preserved forests of Prokletije and Komovi, which aims to contribute to the emprowerment of civil society organizations, activists and individuals who are active or want to be active in the field of forest conservation with a focus on the Prokletije National Park and the Komovi Nature Park.
The workshop was held in the period from 16.03. – 18.03. in Andrijevica, during which a training session was held for activists and representatives of the civil sector on forest management. At the training, the participants had the opportunity to hear about the ecological aspect of preserving forests and forest lands, about the legislative framework and competencies in this area, but also about how forests are managed in the Prokletije National Park and Komovi Nature Park, and which problems are present in both parks. As part of the event, the participants had the opportunity to visit the Komovi Nature Park and to learn about the problems on the field.
