We continue with the successful story of the project – Accursed Mountains Cross-border science classroom.
The achieved results of last year’s initiative, as well as the potential that this initiative carries, made it possible again
let’s join forces and start a new phase of research, connection and education on the unique
Curses.
This year too, we will organize an ecological camp in the Grebaje valley for 20 students from neighboring countries: Montenegro, Albania and Kosovo.
By implementing the camp, we aim to highlight the importance of Accursed Mountains through various aspects: ecological,
scientific, educational, sociological, as connecting young people from neighboring countries.
In addition, young people will have the opportunity to explore the beauty and benefits of spending several days in raw nature.

The general goal of the project is to strengthen good neighborly relations in the wider area of Accursed Mountains through
strengthening cooperation, student exchange, education and future research in the field of protection
nature and similar issues.
Specific objectives:
• Establish regional cooperation of students in the field of nature protection;
• Strengthen scientific and research exchange among partners;

Expected results:
• Raised awareness of the importance of cooperation in the cross-border area of Accursed Mountains
between students and young people of all three countries;
• Increased knowledge of 20 students from Montenegro/Kosovo/Albania about nature protection and
acquired new practical knowledge;
• Organized five-day regional summer camp.

The project is realized in cooperation with Environmentally Responsible Action (ERA) from Kosovo and the Institute for
Nature Conservation in Albania (INCA) from Albania. The project is financed by the Western Balkans Fund.
