Strengthening Civil Society engagement in the EU Accession supported Environmental Reforms

Project “Strengthening Civil Society engagement in the EU Accession supported Environmental Reforms” is being implemented under Coalition 27 which is leading national network of civil society organizations (CSO) in the field of environmental protection.
Overall objective of the project is strengthening the role of civil society in promoting transparent and participatory governance, democratic reforms and human rights in Montenegro under the framework of the EU accession process.

Specific objective of the project is active participation of CSOs in the policy dialogue with the public sector counterparts on environmental reforms under the EU Accession process.
In the next three years, the project will support CSOs and networks through trainings, small grants, shadow reports and monitoring reports with results related to improved capacities of civil society organizations, increased public awareness of EU standards in the field of environment, increased public dialogue itself on the topics of environment.

This project is implemented by the NGO Green Home as the leading partner and the organizations Center for the Protection and Study of Birds, the Society of Young Ecologists and Northland as project partners.
The project is financially supported by the European Union.
