NGO Green Home in cooperation with EIT Food is implementing “EIT Food Startup Awareness Event”, which will be held in two parts: the EIT Food Challenge Lab, which is a multi-stage programme designed using principles from design thinking and service design and a networking event for the members of the local agrifood and innovation ecosystem.

The EIT Food Challenge Lab Agrifood Hackathon will be held over three days (21.11, 25.11, and 27.11) in a hybrid format, combining online and offline activities. Participants will engage in education, teamwork, and mentorship sessions, culminating in a final presentation of their products. Exciting prizes will be awarded to the top three teams.

A networking event will be organized for the members of agrifood and innovation ecosystem serving as a platform to discuss the current challenges and opportunities in the local agrifood system and present and get to know the EIT Food activities to the invited audience.

Challenge Lab is a project initiated by EIT FOOD (European Institute of Innovation and Technology). The Institute’s mission is to build an innovative community in Europe and to support development of technology and entrepreneurship in the agri-food industry. Challenge Labs are designed to tackle the big problems facing the food sector by bringing together diverse groups of people and using innovation tools and methodologies.

We are inviting startups, investors, food companies, universities and research centers, ministries, innovation agencies, companies from agrifood sector, clusters, farmer associations to join us to tackle both immediate challenges and foster long term growth in the Montenegrin agrifood sector.
