The ENV.NET project is a continuation of the ENV.NET 1 and ENV.NET2 projects, which were successfully implemented in the period from 2012 to 2016.

ENV.NET 3 started in December 2017. Green Home is one of the partners in the project and is implemented in cooperation with: 4X4X4 Balkan Bridges from Macedonia, European Environmental Bureau from Belgium, Advocacy Training and Resource Center from Kosovo, Ambassadors of Sustainable Development and environment from Serbia, Lir Evolution, from Bosnia and Herzegovina, TEMA – the Turkish Foundation for Combating Soil Erosion, for Reforestation and Protection of Natural Habitats, from Turkey and Foundation Punto.Sud, from Italy. Two partners come from EU countries, Belgium and Italy, with the aim of helping to better understand EU policies in the field of environment, but also to transfer the knowledge and experience of more developed countries.

The project aims to contribute to the improvement of environmental legislation and its implementation in accordance with EU standards. The ENV.NET network intends to contribute both to the improvement of the mutual cooperation of all actors (including environmental non-governmental organizations, the media and decision-makers) and to the general creation of a more favorable technical and financial environment in which they operate.

Specific goal of the project:

– Strengthening the ENV.NET network and its impact on environmental policies in the countries of the Western Balkans and Turkey;

– Getting to know the concept of Circular Economy and intensifying activities in the field of climate change;

– Organizing e-learning courses as well as awarding sub-grants in order to strengthen the capacities of smaller organizations.
