Project “Contribution to the preservation of natural values of the Upper Zeta River in Montenegro” which aims to take short-term and long-term measures to improve the condition of degraded parts of watercourses and the coastal area of the Zeta River.
The project is focused on assessing the hydromorphological and ecological condition of the Upper Zeta River, but also on the implementation of revitalization measures. The project is planned to conduct field work that will be focused on mapping hydromorphological pressures in digital format, as well as research on macrozoobenthos in selected locations. The research of hydromorphological pressures on the one hand and macrozoobenthos on the other hand will provide data on the basis of which the ecological condition of this water body will be determined.
The project is financially supported by the Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund.
