Through this project we will improve the citizens’ awareness about the negative impact of POPs on the environment and human health, and initiate a public dialogue on the matter.

Bearing in mind the exposure of recyclable material collectors to POPs chemicals, we will prepare a Guidebook that will include basic information on POPs, their negative effects and the risks that handling them entails, and the measures of protection.

Considering that POPs are present in certain electric and electronic waste, we will prepare an informative campaign aiming to raise awareness on the importance of waste separation of such products.
