The aim of the project is to contribute to the improvement of the hydromorphological
condition of the Tara riverbed and coast, through the identification of pressures and
implementation of protection measures against pollution and other problems, and to
strengthen the capacity of fish stocks and their gamekeeping services to combat illegal
fishing activities;
-Green Home organized a two-day training on the methodology of identification
and mapping of hydromorphological pressures and ways of entering data in the
Fulcrum application. The training was attended by employees and volunteers of
the NGO Green Home, representatives of the National Parks of Montenegro, while
the practical training was realized on the river Tara;
-For the needs of field research, two tablets were procured, which were used for
data entry, and a technician was hired for data processing, digitization and error
control;
-Over 25 days in the field, Green Home trained teams identified and mapped
pressures along the entire Tara River in Montenegro, 146 km long;
-During the field research, video material was collected for the production of a film
on the natural values of the Tara River and the sustainable use of water and natural
resources, in order to raise the awareness of water users and the local population.
